Import Specialist

Responsibilities

• Tracing of imported delivery trailers (50-100 per week) and sending tracing reports to customers.
• Checking for damage when cargo arrives.
• Communication with subcontractors who work for unloading based on arrival time.
• Investigating and reporting the cause of damage when it occurs.
• Processing of payment for import charges and generating invoices to customers by utilizing our system.
• Communication with truckers, drivers, LAX branch, and CHI branch for smooth delivery. 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements, Education, and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalency certificate or significant or relevant or appropriate working experience.
• Some computer skills including data entry and maintenance and working
• Some knowledge of general and Import/Export Computer application technology desirable
• Some knowledge of international commerce (Incoterms, method, customs regulations etc.) desirable
• Good verbal and written communication Skill
• Must be able to accommodate a flexible work schedule including weekends and holidays as necessary

Will work with all levels in the organization.
