Essential Duties
Manages each of the Resin Leadpeople/Supervisors.

Education, Experience, And/Or Certification
- Coordinates daily, weekly, & monthly activities, and supervise manages the activities of the lead/supervisors and their operators on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts.
- Confers with management personnel to establish production and quality control standards, develop budget and cost controls, and to obtain data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.
- Attends Supervisor Safety Meeting and conducts employee safety/communication meetings as required. Ensures that all Team Members and Supervisors follow NB Coatings safety policies, work rules, S.O.P.s and Process Control Tables.
- Plans and directs production activities and establishes production priorities for products in keeping with effective operations and cost factors.
- Manages work to ensure inventory accuracy activities are performed – e.g. consumption of raw materials to process orders and cost centers, cycle counting, bulk inventory reset, etc.
- Develops and implements annual department KPIs and personnel goals
- Coordinates production activities with procurement, maintenance, and quality control activities to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.
- Reviews and analyzes production, quality control, maintenance, and operational reports to determine causes of nonconformity with product specifications and operating or production problems.
- Provide and/or coordinate training for Team Members and assist in the continuous development of the departmental training program.
- Develops and implements operating methods and procedures designed to eliminate operating problems and improve product quality.
- Revises production schedules and priorities as result of equipment failure or operating problems.
- Consults with engineering personnel relative to modification of machines and equipment in order to improve production and quality of products.
- Ensures OSHA PSM activities and policies (management of change, process hazard analysis, job safety reviews, standard operating procedures, etc) are applied efficiently and completely.
- Administers annual performance appraisals in a prompt and professional manner. Ensures team communications are professional.
- Compiles, stores, and retrieves production data.

Education, Experience, And/Or Certification
- BS in Chemistry or Engineering
- 5 years of manufacturing supervisory experience
- Experience with applicable EPA and OSHA regulations including PSM
- Experience with reactive chemistry and control systems
- Experience with SAP
- Strong computer skills with emphasis on data analysis
- Experience with VPC
- Excellent analytical skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written form
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to inquiries, and/or complaints
- Displays courtesy, tact and respect when dealing with others.
- Maintains appropriate confidentiality.
- Ability to meet strict deadlines using time management and delegation skills.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to wear a respirator/all necessary PPE – including being clean shaven for respirator use.
