Position Responsibilities (typical)
Apply paint samples through various techniques (manual and automated)Perform basic to advanced QC tests on prepared panels as skill growsComplete application or circulation matrices with varying conditions to provide data for analysisPerform basic trouble-shooting on application and / or circulation equipmentInterface with application equipment suppliers and support internal justifications for new equipmentSupport other Evaluation Team functions such as NPST, Test Lab as time allows

Position Qualifications
The individual must be able to perform each essential job duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The following requirements are representative of the knowledge, skills, and / or abilities needed to perform the job at a fully acceptable level.
Education, Experience, And / Or Certification
High school diploma required.Experience : Technician : experience working in a chemical laboratory preferred.Specialist : typically, 2 years of applicable experienceSenior Specialist : typically, 5 years of applicable experienceMaster Specialist : typically, 10 years of applicable experienceAble to handle paints and chemicals, including isocyanates, using required PPE.
Ability and desire to learn and improve.Ability to lift 50 lbs.Basic computer Skills, office / word / excel

Strong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to communicate clearly and concisely both in oral and written formAbility to effectively present information and respond to inquiries, and / or complaintsDisplays courtesy, tact and respect when dealing with others.
