NIRA, Inc. is looking for a Junior .NET Developer to support a web-based case management system for a federal agency.
Responsibilities include:
- Participating in lifecycle development of web-based applications following an Agile methodology, including requirement analysis, software, design and implementation, system testing.
- Developing software components using Microsoft .NET technologies.
- Supporting the operation, maintenance, administration of the application and infrastructure, which Microsoft platform, Appian BPM, J2EE application server, and Microsoft SQL Server.
- Working with customers to clarify requirements, and classify and prioritize user requests, bug fix requests, and operational issues reported by users.
- Recommending, evaluating, and performing system upgrades.
Required Skills
- More than 1 year of working experience in software development using Object-Oriented Programming, Drupal, Apache Web Server, .NET Core 2.x and ASP.NET Core 2.x, SOAP/REST based web services and HTTP posts.
- Experience with MS SQL Server Database (2008 and above), Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), windows service, web service, .Net remoting.
- Experience using DevOps tools..
- A team player, good at requirement analysis.
- Ability to multitask efficiently and effectively and have strong facilitation skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
- Follow-up and follow-through on work products and activities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
