Job Description


Niram, a long-standing public works contractor, seeks Estimating engineer / Assistant to work in spacious office with organized systems and staff. Works directly with existing bid team. Niram offers excellent salary and benefits.


Overall Responsibilities:


  • Assist in the day to day Estimating operations
  • Read construction plans and perform quantity take offs
  • Solicit vendors for pricing, quotes on various quantities and materials
  • Create bid folders
  • Attend pre-bid meetings
  • Build relationships with subcontractors & suppliers

Requirements:


  • Associates/Bachelors in Engineering Technology, Construction Engineering Technology
  • Reading and understanding blueprints
  • Comfortable working in a team environment and speaking on the phone

Pay: $50,000.00 - $75,000.00
