Responsibilities
Systems & Data Connectivity (50%)
- Ensure systems connectivity among Nisolo internal systems & data, as well as with our partners - including EDI connections, retail/wholesale merchants & their data, freight providers & their data, and other vendors.
- Proactively identify potential breakages in systems and or processes, identify solutions, and implement them.
- Troubleshoot system connectivity and process issues both within Nisolo and with our partners, ensuring business continuity.
- Create and own SOPs to ensure that Nisolo inputs the correct data (PIM structure) to set us up for scale as new systems added and as we add new products each season; this includes owning our systems that serve Third Party wholesale/marketplace partners and documenting who is responsible for the entry and maintenance of information into the systems.
Tool & Data Set Up, Management, and Help Desk (50%)
- Own the technology requirements of the organization, including ordering new hardware & software for new hires; cataloging ownership, contracts, SaaS subscriptions, and related tool administration; and proactively optimizing Nisolo’s financial spend on tools.
- Own Cybersecurity. Ensure that everyone has appropriate security enabled. Build and maintain network connectivity and security across all Nisolo locations. Maintain PCI compliance, handle all network security, lead security audits of our overall business, especially ecommerce business.
- Proactively manage and respond to all internal company technology help needs.
- Create a troubleshooting/systems project management structure, including ticketing/priority for requesting support/submitting troubleshooting tickets to quickly and effectively resolve issues within our tech stack and create historical clarity of LOE and archives for future reference.
Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years experience in a retail setting with Business Systems, Information Technology, or a closely related field.
- Demonstrated experience with a wide variety of retail systems and digital tools, including: Shopify & Shopify Third Party Apps, Google Tools (i.e., GA), EDI and similar Third Party data exchanges, Retail Marketplace Platforms (Seller Central, Zappos, and related), Third Party Marketing tools (Klaviyo and similar), Wholesale and Dropship Platforms (such as Nuorder, Feedonomics, Facebook and Honeycomb), Fulfillment tools (Internal connectivity, WMS, Third Party integrations with carriers & Narvar , etc.), and other tools and integrations essential to an omni-channel retail brand.
- Demonstrated experience setting up, administering, and optimizing internal systems and digital tools for a retail brand, including: Setting up data warehouses and layering on Business Intelligence tools, ERP systems (Brightpearl is a plus), Financial management tools (Bill.com, Xero, and similar), CRM tools, and other systems and integrations essential for an omni-channel retail brand.
- Experience with cybersecurity, including protecting data and trade secrets.
- Experience with physical retail tools including POS solutions and foot traffic measurement.
- Demonstrated procurement, negotiation, and contracting skills.
- Expert CPU administration skills (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, and similar).
- Direct experience within retail and ecommerce.
- BA/BS degree or equivalent life experience.
Compensation: Based on previous experience and expertise.

Location: Nashville, Tennessee or New York, New York preferred. Willing to consider remote with frequent travel to HQ for the right candidate.
