Cybersecurity Architect I Full Time Perm Shift: Hybrid – 2 days onsite 3 days remote Location: Columbus, OH The Cyber Security department at NiSource ensures the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of NiSource assets to achieve the company mission. This team performs various measures to protect the company with a wide range of technologies to combat the latest threats in an ever-evolving landscape. This team interfaces with business units and various stakeholders to ensure NiSource and Industry standards are considered and implemented throughout the various stages of the projects Lifecycle. The team is also responsible for collaborating with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure a holistic solution aligns with the most up to date enterprise architecture and Cybersecurity standards and technologies. The Cybersecurity Architect I is responsible for attending agile project meetings with multiple stakeholders and ensuring cybersecurity controls and industry standards are followed during lifecycle of project. This includes working with business leaders and service providers to develop and implement enterprise architecture strategies, as well as developing methodologies and processes to ensure compliance to those strategies. Your responsibilities may include, but are not limited to: Analyze enterprise business drivers to develop enterprise architecture strategies and plans Develop strategies and roadmaps to consolidate and protect IT assets Review design artifacts for compliance with architecture direction Identify, champion and direct technology roadmap initiatives Provide enterprise architecture consulting as needed on all major initiatives as assigned Recommend proactive courses of action to maintain cost effectiveness and competitiveness Minimum Qualifications Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience 2 years of experience in SOC, incident response, IT forensics, IT audit and compliance, or related cybersecurity field 1 years of experience in cloud technology Preferred Qualifications Familiarity with the Energy Industry Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred Security certification Disclaimer The preceding description is not designed to be a complete list of all duties and responsibilities required of the position.
