Purpose Purchasing of fixtures and inventory for the maintenance and parts department. Perform clerical tasks related to the efficient processing of accounts payable transactions Work in a quality driven, fast paced, multiple tasked and deadline oriented environment. To ensure the safety and quality of the products that the line produces.
Essential Functions- Job Duties: The following duties are considered essential to the job. Qualified individuals must have the ability to perform the following duties.
· Review and verify all documents against invoices
· All invoices must be processed in 48-hours after receipt
· Create check requests as needed
· Verify and rectify proper sales tax on ordered materials/equipment.
· Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
· Reconcile accounts payable transactions
· Coordinate movement of purchased maintenance materials from suppliers to the plant and address any supply/supplier issues.
· Update POs with current delivery information. If delivery is within 2 week period, not necessary.
· Expedite components as needed to keep production lines running.
· Maintain supplier/vendor files by keeping them complete and up to date.
· Follow established guidelines and procedures for purchases and establish preferred supplier list as required.
· Develop relationships with suppliers in order to resolve delivery and quality concerns.
· Provide administrative support to the maintenance department.
· Assist with month end closing
· May update and track licensee information.
· Provide supporting documentation for audits
· Support a team environment; treat everyone with fairness, respect, and courtesy; effectively utilize the time and skills of others; train and develop support personnel.

Education and/or Experience: One year certificate from college or tech school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
Computer Skills: Previous experience and/or training in computer based software programs such as Word, Excel and other applicable computer software required.
Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
