Your Role: The Business Management team in Encino is hiring the next seasoned Tax - Staff Accountant. This individual plays an essential role in supporting the organization's compliance with tax laws and regualtions, preparing necessary tax filings, and assisting in tax planning efforts. He/She works closely with other departments to gather and analyze financial data, ensure accurate reproting, and maintain proper documentation.
What will you do?
- Enter / Reconcile client brokerage statements.
- Prepare client financial statements.
- Prepare cash flow projections and budgets for clients.
- Assist the tax department on tax planning and preparation matters.
- Prepare other complex reports and financial analysis for clients and Partners as needed.
- Perform various accounting analysis of general ledgers, financial statements, and similar.
- Create Journal Entries
- Assist with setup of new client financial records as needed.
- Assist with year‐end close as needed.
- Other projects as assigned.
- Experience with tax planning and compliance (primarily U.S.) for individuals, S‐Corp’s, partnerships, trusts (and other closely held entities) is a plus.
- Experience with financial statement preparation and compilation
- Knowledge of QuickBooks, Xero, and other common accounting software
- Knowledge of Datafaction / Agillink preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of CCH Axcess or ProSystem preferred.
- Expert Excel and other Microsoft Office programs.
- Must have exceptional organizational and analytical skills.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience with entertainment or high net worth clients a plus.
- Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Initiative-taking with excellent organization skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills necessary
- Attention to detail and ability to multi-task is an asset.
- Strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Exceptional people skills
- Friendly and professional demeanor
- Ability to work well with a team and pitch in when needed.
- High School diploma required / College diploma preferred.
- Occasional, standing, walking, crouching, and lifting to 15 pounds.

- Moderate to loud noise level
- Risk of electrical shock
