Job Description:
The Georgia Department of Transportation is seeking an Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition (OBIEE/OAS) Developer with solid experience and knowledge in implementing enterprise level reporting solutions using OBIEE/OAS (Oracle Analytics Server – In-Premise). Candidate must be able to develop RPD’s, reports (Answer, BI Publisher & Data Visualization, and dashboards. Candidate must demonstrate ability to be productive and effective in report conversion. Candidate must be capable and committed to delivering results on-time/on-schedule.
Responsibilities:
· Builds OBIEE/OAS reports (Answer, BI Publisher, and Data Visualization) and Dashboards
· Models, configure and optimizes the RPD based on Data Warehouse (OLAP) and databases (OLTP) sources.
· Building geospatial reports in OBIEE/OAS environments using Answer and Data Visualization
· Develop Data model (using SQL Query & Subject Area) and reports in BI Publisher using RTF template and/or Online Editor
· Assists in day-to-day OBIEE administration, deployment, system maintenance, and upgrades
· Assist in Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with minimal user disruption
· Perform unit, system and integration testing
· Work with business users to gather reporting/analytics requirements
Required Skills:
· 8 years of IT development experience in Oracle BI environment
· 5 years of experience as an Oracle BI developer using OBIEE/OAS with deep expertise in RPD design/development, Reports (Answer, BI Publisher & OAS Data Visualization) and Dashboards
· Experience in Oracle BI (OBIEE/OAS) security and server administration
· 5 years of strong working knowledge of leading RDBMS e.g., MS SQL Server 2016/2019, Oracle 12c/19c and Oracle Exadata X7-2
· 5 years of experience in writing PL/SQL, SQL*Plus, etc.
· 5 years of experience with star-schema, snowflake, FACT, and dimensional data modeling
· Demonstrated experience in designing, building, implementing, and deploying enterprise level reports, analytics, dashboards, RPD and data models against Oracle, SQL Server and other leading databases (hosted in-premise & Cloud)
· Demonstrated experience in creating advanced and complex level calculations in OBIEE/OAS
· Demonstrated experience in complex RPD, Data Model, Reports (Answer, BI Publisher – Data Model, RTF Template, Online Editor)
· Demonstrated experience in creating advanced visualization using OBIEE, BI Publisher and OAS Data Visualization
· Complete working knowledge of OBIEE/OAS security (users, objects and data level) and caching capabilities.
· Experience with deploying/upgrading BI systems
· Basic understanding of Oracle WebLogic server.
· Must be skilled and experienced with graphical elements and filtered/layered reporting with drill down capabilities
· Understand how to use XML, and XSL for advanced report features and formatting
· Experience with creating performance metric-based reporting and dashboards
Desired Skills:
· Experience with Microsoft SharePoint
· Experience with Power BI and other leading Visualization Tools
· Experience customizing BI reports using XML, HTML, JSP, ASP, SDK
· Knowledge of Oracle Financials (PeopleSoft), and Primavera/P6 Analytics, Human Resources (Time and Labor), Learning Management and Microsoft Project
