Job Function/Purpose:

As an IT Business Partner, specializing in Supply Chain & Finance, you will serve as a strategic liaison between business units and IT. This role requires a deep understanding of both the organization's business objectives and the configuration of systems. The Business Partner will collaborate with internal stakeholders to align strategies with business goals, optimize operational efficiency, and drive continuous improvement within the IT ecosystem. You will be responsible for developing and implementing the IT solutions. You will coordinate with your direct report on establishing the priorities to be implemented depending on cost, time, and resources. 


Key Accountabilities:

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Foster collaboration among different internal departments involved in sales, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, distribution, operations, and & finance. 
  • Facilitate regular communication and information exchange to ensure a seamless workflow. 
  • Ensure the creation of product implementation backlog, as well as its planning and prioritization. Clearly and precisely document the requirements and needs of the business. 
  • Evaluate the technical complexity and difficulties of customer requests. 
  • Manage projects through the JIRA platform. Weigh priorities according to stakeholder needs and objectives together with your Global CIO. 
  • When making decisions, weighing all variables of scope, budget, and time to fully understand the systems in order to anticipate problems or needs and find solutions.

Implementation of Initiatives (hands-on)

  • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans, implementing initiatives that enhance collaboration, efficiency, and overall performance. 
  • Deploy global solutions that involve data from various business areas & locations. 
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure business requests are coordinated across all departments and take ownership of the request.
  • Develop detailed project plans, integrating resources, time prioritizations, and budget. 
  • Oversee the quality of deliverables and ensure internal customer satisfaction. 
  • Provide regular reports on project progress, problems, and solutions (i.e., EPICOR, SMARTSHEET, SAGE).

Continuous Improvement: 

  • Identify areas for process improvement in procurement, inventory management, manufacturing, sales & distribution, and finance. 
  • Collaborate with process owners to implement system changes that enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

Data Analysis: 

  • Use data and analytics tools to analyze, track key performance indicators, and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Provide regular reports and actionable insights to management, highlighting opportunities for optimization, cost reduction, and process enhancement.

ITSM (IT Service Management): 

  • Provide support in the management & fixing of incidents, problems, and requests, providing excellent IT support and services to the company.

Mitigation Strategies

  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies, working closely with relevant teams to create contingency plans and minimize the impact of the implementations. 
  • Ensure business processes comply with corporate IT policies. 
  • Advise the business on prioritization of projects and initiatives.

External Stakeholders

  • Monitor supplier compliance for contract terms, quality standards, and delivery timelines. 
  • Address any deviations and work collaboratively to find solutions.

Requirements

  

What it takes to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field. 
  • 10 years of experience in supply chain management, with a focus on global business relations.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing international relationships and optimizing supply chain processes.
  • Proven experience in supply chain management, business partnering, or a related role.
  • Experience and ability to manage projects within IT tool.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to influence and drive consensus among cross-functional teams.
  • Knowledge of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in both business and systems.
  • Ability to organize, manage projects and work in geo-localized multidisciplinary environments.
  • High level of commitment and orientation to teamwork.
  • EPICOR experience in IT (i.e., queries, reports, dashboards, data dictionary, new configuration, etc.).
  • Do what it takes” attitude.
  • Must be very detail oriented.
  • Proactive with follow-up and a great sense of urgency.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to travel, up to 25% domestic and international, planned and on-demand based on ongoing projects.

Pay: $70,000 - 80,000 annually DOE


In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
