We are looking for a Facility Maintenance Technician to help with everything from daily maintenance tasks to full facility upgrades. This position needs to have a background in equipment maintenance and troubleshooting and has the ability to start as or rapidly grow into a senior position, planning facility needs for expansion and improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the facilities team to upgrade, repair, and maintain facility equipment, (including the canning line, pasteurizer, chillers, and all packout related machinery), and other critical devices
- Perform mechanical or electronic technical duties in the fabrication, testing, debugging and documentation of standard assemblies, modules and systems.
- Maintain and operate the scheduled maintenance of the Seabrook facility on an ongoing basis
- Assist in the coordination of the various contractors, specialists, workers, and technicians that may be involved during specialized projects or repairs
- Identify key issues and implement necessary projects and repairs to ensure that the continued work at the Seabrook facility is safe, efficient, and operational
- Works from written and/or verbal instructions, technical manuals, engineering specifications and computer-generated schematics. Uses a variety of test equipment and troubleshoots product defects.
- Assist in vehicle maintenance as needed
- Complete work using a safety first mindset
- Assist with outside projects and activities as needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Minimum of two years of applicable trade experience or five years of general hands on maintenance experience
- Diversified understanding of mechanical and electronic technical troubleshooting
- Must be able to read and communicate effectively and interpret blueprints, diagrams and statistical data
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Ability to lift 40 lbs, operate equipment and hand and power tools.
- Plus: In depth understanding of Software, PLC controls, etc.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
