Bakery Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Bakery Assistant to join our team. As a Bakery Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with various tasks in the bakery, including sales, cake/cookie decorating , and cash handling. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about baking and providing exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities:
- Assist customers with their bakery orders and provide excellent customer service
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area
- Assist with baking and preparing various bakery items

Cake and cookie decorating
- Package and label bakery products for display or storage
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure product quality and safety
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth bakery operations
- Perform other duties as assigned

Experience:
- Previous experience in a bakery or food service environment is preferred but not required
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Familiarity with Aloha POS system is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
