What are the responsibilities and job description for the High School Permanent Building Substitute position at Noble High School?

Noble High School is looking for reliable, dynamic, and student centered individuals to fill the role of permanent substitute teacher for the 2024-25 school year. These positions will be in our building each day helping to ensure that all classrooms have coverage. Daily assignments will be provided each morning but all will be at the high school working with grades 8-12. This position is perfect for someone wanting to either get a start in an educational setting or wants the guarantee of five days per week, while still having each day be a new adventure. Noble is an 8-12 school with 1150 students housed in heterogeneously grouped academies made up of grade-level teams and houses. We are a member of the New England Secondary School Consortium and the League of Innovative Schools. Our school features student-centered learning, multiple pathways to success, one-to-one technology, a Teacher/Student Leadership Team, a proficiency-based system of teaching and learning, multiple performance-based assessments, student-led conferences, and a final capstone called Senior Project. Strong candidates will possess experience in an educational setting and some college coursework in education.
