Noble Company, a subsidiary of FPC International, Inc., is looking for an experienced Quality & Safety Technician to join the team. This position will be responsible for assisting with quality assurance, safety initiatives, general engineering and training needs within the operations and engineering groups.

Location: Spring Lake, MI (7300 Enterprise Dr.).
Reports to: Engineering Manager (who is located in onsite).
Team Dynamics: On a team with an Engineering Technician and two Engineers. This position is on-site.
Work Hours: Generally, Monday-Friday, 8 hours/day. From time to time, this may vary.
Certifications: A Quality Technician Certification or similar is strongly preferred. OSHA certified training a plus.
The Ideal Candidate will: have excellent leadership, be well organized, possess strong analytical skills and a proven ability to create and maintain positive working relationships with internal stakeholders. Experience with MS Outlook, Excel & Word.

About the Position:
- Actively participates and leads the safety committee. Prepares job hazard assessments and ensures the SDS log is maintained and consistently up to date.
- Assists with internal and external Quality audits relating to our listed products.
- Develops, evaluates, and maintains work standards for production jobs.
- Leads Product Change groups when implementing changes that affect production products.
- Assists Production Supervisor in resolving quality issues impeding production.
- Develops and maintains Production Manuals.
- Maintains Customer Complaint log and acts as a liaison between operations, engineering and customer service in an effort to effectively manage customer complaints.
Background You’ll Need:
- High school diploma or GED.
- A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in an operations setting with firsthand experience in quality, safety, general engineering and training practices. Able to read blueprints and demonstrate the use of standard measurement tools i.e., calipers, micrometers, pin gages, thread gages, bore gauge, height gage, tape measure.
- Ability to read, write and clearly communicate ideas and processes to a variety of audiences.
- Developed analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.
