Purpose

The primary responsibility of this position is to successfully create & maintain the production schedules according to customer needs and maximize effectiveness and throughput in all aspects of the production process. This will include, but is not limited to balancing current and future customer orders with existing capacity and backlog, distributing upcoming schedules to team leads and supervisors, and coordinating amongst multiple facilities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain production schedules and targets to ensure appropriate equipment utilization and delivery on customer needs.
  • Ensure transparency on production lead times, identify potential shortfalls, and create visibility of needs and support from internal business partners.
  • Track and monitor performance indicators associated with production efficiencies.
  • Provide timely and effective updates to key customers on the status and the estimated delivery date of their orders.
  • Examine all aspects of the scheduling process, including historical data and customer forecast, to improve production processes wherever possible.
  • Act as liaison to Production and Sales teams to create quicker awareness of product delivery and issues that could impact customers.
  • Report to the leadership team regarding existing orders, challenges, and production forecasting.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
