Noblis is seeking an accountant for their finance team.
Responsibilities:
The accountant will collaborate and support across various functions of the Finance departments and other areas around the company.
As a member of the Budget & Overhead (B&O) department team, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Preparing & calculating monthly Indirect Rates and its components including Labor, bases and Other Indirect Costs (ODCs)
- Analyzing indirect cost and burdens for various pools. I.e., G&A, Overhead, Location, Sub Admin, Fringe, etc.
- Reconciling monthly Statements of Indirect Expenses (SIEs) to Trial Balance and CER reports for various pools
- Preparing weekly and monthly staffing (Full Time Equivalents - FTEs) analyses and reports
- Assisting and preparing indirect budgets for internal/Shared Services clients
- Preparing monthly cost vs Budget status reports for internal/Shared Services clients.
- Understanding and assisting with the preparation of yearly Incurred Cost Submissions (ICSs) and Forward Pricing Rate proposals (FPR) to DCMA & DCAA
- Understanding and supporting Internal & External audits including DCAA many audit requests
- Assisting or entering monthly journal entries related to various types of intercompany allocations
- Understanding, tracking and analyzing Unallowable charges
Qualifications:
- Bachelors or Master's Degree
- 0 years of related experience
- Well organized, strong team player with good communication & analytical skills
- Flexible, highly motivated with the ability to multi-task in a dynamic work environment
- A sound knowledge of large-scale accounting software and standard accounting principles
- Knowledge of Deltek - Cost Point Financial Systems is strongly preferred
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel
- Understanding of practices for FAR/CAS regulations and Government Contracts
- Familiarity with audit procedures and terminology
Desired skills and knowledge:
- Degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred
