The pandemic has highlighted how important telecoms networks are to society. Nokia’s Network Infrastructure group is at the heart of a revolution to bring more and faster network capacity to people worldwide through our ambition, innovation, and technical expertise.
Network Infrastructure's Americas Regional Business Center organization has an opportunity for a Customer Project Manager (CPM) to join our Customer Delivery team. The CPM ensures customer projects / programs are delivered within agreed scope, budget, schedule, and quality, and the CPM is accountable for the delivery of the entire customer contract. The CPM represents Nokia and is the primary contact for the assigned scope for planning, execution, resource and cost allocation, prioritization, and escalation topics for the entire project/program’s life cycle. In this role you will oversee a large project, involving multiple Business Groups and Divisions.
What you will learn and contribute to
• Ensure customer satisfaction while meeting or exceeding Nokia’s financial objectives.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage technical and business concerns with customers and internal organizations to meet Nokia s contractual commitments.
- Plan and coordinate the introduction of new products into customer markets (NPI).
- Drive and manage project planning, including customer requirements and related product roadmap milestones, PCN implementation, and local customization efforts.
- Develop project plans that will use resources efficiently and meet the project goals within the desired timeframe; monitor actual progress of project vs. planned progress and seek recovery where actual progress deviates from planned.
- Secure product forecast from customer, track forecast accuracy, maintain VAR inventory levels at acceptable levels and ensure acceptable on-time delivery performance is maintained; track revenue objectives, including revenue gap analysis and profit margins.
- Coordinate Technical Support to resolve and close customer tickets.
- Provide input to risk analysis and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Bachelor´s Degree in Telecommunication, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or applicable industry experience
- At least 7 years in hands-on project management experience with a large-scale telecom customer and at least 3 years in Wireline and Fixed Access Wireless project experience.
- Solid interpersonal and leadership skills.
- Project Management Professional (PMP)® certification.
- Understanding of Demand Planning, Forecasting, Material Management through to Delivery.
- Experience in Fixed Access Wireless (RGW-4G and 5G) and WiFi Beacons.
