The team you'll be part of
As Nokia's growth engine, we create value for communication service providers and enterprise customers by leading the transition to cloud-native software and as-a-service delivery models. Our inclusive team of dreamers, doers and disruptors push the limits from impossible to possible.
The Device Onboarding team is part of the Business Applications Device Managmenet business line. We provide device interoperability testing services against the various Nokia Device Management products that conform with various OMA and Broadband Forum standards. This team works in a collaborative nature often times dealing directly with the customer and device vendor to sort our issues and report test results.
What you will learn and contribute to
Nokia is looking for someone that is passionate about testing and wishes to be part of a team that has a direct impact on product and customer success.
As part of our team, you will:
- Be assigned various device types for certification testing against customer specific device requirements
- Utilize analytical skills to isolate problems during device testing, track defects, and provide input to internal teams, customers, and device manufacturers
- Work directly with device vendors to provide support and direction on any questions regarding requirements or the self-test platform
- Participate in environment related maintenance updates to ensure product and services continuity
- Evaluate the efficiency of testing procedures and recommend appropriate changes to drive continous improvement
- Follow all Nokia Information Security Policies and Guidelines including ISMS (ISO27001 program)
Your skills and experience
The Interoperabilty tester should be able to demonstrate experience with the below must have requirements.
You have:
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Minimum of 3 years experience in a software or hardware testing capacity
- Familiarity with OMA-DM, LWM2M, or TR-069 protocols
- Hands on experience troubleshooting and resolving technical issues with complex devices or systems
It would be nice if you also had:
- Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA and Confluence
- Running communication traces with tools such as Wireshark, Ethereal, or TCPDump
