NOMAD @ SEAN RUSH is hiring a SERVER (Part-Time).

• Base server wage tips (we are a pooled-tip house) possible commissions
• Part-time: 5 to 7 hours per night, 3 nights a week (Thursday–Saturday); plus possible additional shifts for private and special events (usually 1–2 events per month minimum)
• At least 1 year of related industry experience required
• Must have reliable transportation

NOMAD @ SEAN RUSH is an intimate wine lounge with cold food service, part of a thriving art gallery and interior design studio. Food service runs from 6 pm to 10 pm, Thursday–Saturday. We feature live music each of those nights. Start times are 30–60 minutes before opening.

SUMMARY OF POSITION

Our SERVERS work with the entire Tribe at NOMAD to maintain impeccable service and a clean, safe environment. They work as part of the team to ensure the best possible NOMAD experience for our guests.

REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

• Must be self-motivated with a strong commitment to customer service.
• One year or more experience in casual-upscale dining is preferred.
• Must have a positive attitude.
• Must maintain a professional appearance.
• Should always exceed guests’ expectations.
• Wine knowledge required.
• Must be able to maintain a clean working environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE

• Prepare tables and lounge areas with special attention to sanitation and maintaining visual/design standards
• Attend to customers upon entrance and throughout the NOMAD space
• Sharing the NOMAD story with patrons, along with answering or facilitating answers about artwork and design merchandise
• Make wine, beverage, and food recommendations
• Take and serve orders
• Collaborate with other servers and kitchen staff
• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude
• Issue bills and process payments

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 18 per week
