What are the responsibilities and job description for the Travel Nurse - Psychiatry $2,652/wk position at Nomad?
Will accept a first-time traveler with greater than 2 years of experience.
Will work with peds.
Must be able to do a take down and physical restraint on an agitated patient if necessary, verbal de-escalation, group didactic skills - (Required)
Will administer own meds (injectable and PO) pass meds, minor wound care, EKGS (we train), glucometer, vital signs, the Columbia suicide risk screen, end of shift report, log in patient belongings, screenings - (Required)
Shifts to include- 8:00AM-4:00PM, 4:00PM-12:30AM, 12:00AM-8:30AM, 8:00AM- 8:30PM, 8:00AM- 8:30PM.
Available schedules: 8 or 12 hour shifts.
Every other weekend - (Required).
Call coverage as needed.
Holiday coverage as needed.
Must float as needed.

Patient ratio 1:8
No blocked scheduling.
No RTO during Sturgis Bike Rally (first 3 weeks in August).
Permanent staff must wait 1 full year to return as a traveler
