The Challenge (Job Summary)
NOMS Healthcare is seeking a Project Manager, Analytics to lead and coordinate various analytics projects within the organization. This role is pivotal in managing projects that span across data analysis, business intelligence, and advanced analytics, ensuring that they align with the organization's strategic goals. The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the project lifecycle, from initiation and planning through execution, monitoring, control, and closure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in analytics, project management, and healthcare operations.
Your Day to Day & Essential Functions:
• You will develop detailed project plans, ensuring resource availability and allocation. Lead the execution of analytics projects, meeting deadlines and maintaining high-quality standards.
• You will act as a liaison between the analytics team and other departments. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions.
• You will utilize data to make informed project decisions, ensuring that projects support the strategic direction of the organization.
• You will lead and motivate project team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
• You’ll ensure that projects deliverables meet the required quality standards and are in line with stakeholder expectations.
• You’ll identify and manage potential risks, devising contingency plans as necessary.
• You’ll maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular project updates to senior management.
• You ‘ll evaluate completed projects to determine successful and unsuccessful project elements, using this data to drive continuous improvement within the project management domain.
What You Need to Succeed (Competencies and Education):
• Proven working experience (minimum of 3 years) in project management, specifically in the analytics or healthcare sector.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with data analysis tools and methodologies.
• Experience with project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong interpersonal skills and extremely resourceful.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) / PRINCE II certification is a plus.
• Familiarity with healthcare systems and data privacy standards (HIPAA, etc.) is highly desirable.
Education and Work Experience:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Data Science, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
