Essential Job Functions:
- Prepare and maintain accurate and timely revenue reports, dashboards, and metrics on a regular and ad hoc basis, and present them to management and stakeholders.
- Analyze revenue trends, variances, and drivers across different products, markets, channels, and segments, and identify opportunities and risks for revenue growth and optimization.
- Support the development and execution of revenue strategies and initiatives and monitor their effectiveness and impact on the revenue performance and goals.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as sales, marketing, finance, and operations, to provide revenue analysis and guidance, and align on the revenue objectives and plans.
- Partner with Operations on the translation of revenue projections into demand plan for supply and production planning.
- Conduct revenue reconciliation and validation and resolve any discrepancies or issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure revenue recognition and reporting are in accordance with accounting standards and policies and comply with internal and external audit requirements.
- Assist in the preparation and review of revenue budgets, forecasts, and plans, and provide variance analysis and explanations to management and stakeholders.
- Research and stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and benchmarks for revenue analysis and management, and apply them to the revenue function.
- Completion of other ad hoc reporting, information requests, and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
Required Education & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in revenue analysis, accounting, or finance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other data analysis tools and software.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, and ability to communicate complex data and concepts in a clear and concise manner.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, and quality, and ability to deliver high-quality work under tight deadlines and pressure.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
- Knowledge of revenue recognition principles and practices, and relevant accounting standards and policies.
- Experience in using ERP, CRM, and BI systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics.
- Skilled in building and presenting Power BI reports and dashboards.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work with a computer
- Stand/Sit/Walk 8 hrs/day.
