We have Open Shifts and commit PART-TIME, FULL-TIME or PRN with us! Apply for our active cases in the areas of: MCALLEN, MISSION, EDINBURG, ALAMO, CORPUS CHRISTI, MATHIS, PORT LAVACA, FLORESVILLE, KIRBY TEXAS!

The right fit for this position will have experience and passion nursing Pediatric patients. Experience with tracheostomy, g-tube and vent cares would be an asset.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide Private Duty Nursing in the homes of our patients: 1:1 Patient care
• Implementation of physician’s prescribed plan of care
• Provide quality healthcare to each patient in adherence with all applicable laws, regulations, and policies
• Patient assessments, coordination of care
• Administration of prescribed medications, treatments, and therapies
• Reliably follow shift schedule
• Compliant, timely documentation of care provided in system of record
• Health promotion, teaching and training of family member
• Communicating with other team nurses and Clinical Management
• Responsible for accepting and writing verbal orders from physicians as required and for obtaining co-signature of Case Manager on all verbal orders
• Performs other appropriate duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must have good standing license (RN & LVN or LPN) to practice in the state of Texas
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
• Current CPR certification from American Red Cross, American Heart Association, or BLS
• TB skin test (current within last 12 months)
• Must be willing to provide in home nursing care to infants, children, and adolescents
• Experience with trach care, G-Tube, ventilator is a plus
• Experience is preferred, but new nurse grads are always welcome to grow with us.
