Urgently Hiring an Accountant for a retail business (Permanent Position) in Brooklyn, NY
Responsibilities:
- Analyze and reconcile banking transactions using T-Recs/IDM (for deposit transactions) for 400-500 stores.
- General ledger entries related to bank reconciliations.
- Review new store sales reports.
- Reconciliation of ACH/Wire Payments in the Chase Banking System
- Analysis of E-Commerce /security deposits GL account.
- Reconciliation of Chase ACH/Discovery Benefits Account.
- General Ledger reconciliation.
- Assisting with quarterly unemployment insurance filings.
- Handling any issues related to bank accounts.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Preparation of banking papers for signature.
Skills:
- Retail experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of bank reconciliations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Education: A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting
