We are seeking an electrical technician that has journeyman level experience with a penchant for critical thinking who can wire UL508 panels, provide preventative maintenance on field equipment, assist on installations, and take part in the overall assembly of automated machinery.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
- Perform wiring of automated equipment panels per UL508A guidelines, based on I/O list and electrical schematics.
- Install and test fuses, solenoids, relays, electrical PLC/analog unit, 110/240/480V control circuits, 4160-volt switchgear, breakers/motors, pneumatic electrical controls by following electrical schematics and I/O list and using test instruments such as voltmeter and ammeter
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems and industrial equipment such as AC/DC motors/Variable Frequency Drives, starters, relays, solid state circuitry, electro-mechanical components and PLCs.
- Run conduit, single/3-Phase work, motor terminations, control and instrument troubleshooting and panel work.
- Execute BOM, I/O and PID specifications on manufacturing and installation orders
- Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
- Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of equipment and conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment during machine service.
- Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required field service as needed
- Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas
- Perform QC tests and inspections of electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring of UL508 low voltage panels for code compliance and design accuracy.
- Maintain current electrician's license or identification card to meet governmental regulations.
Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)
- Minimum associate's degree in an electromechanical training program or equivalent is required
- Minimum 3-5 years' work experience in the electromechanical field(Electrical Trainee or Journeyman Card preferred)
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, control panels, wiring and operating principles of motors, current electrical codes, and ordinances
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, wiring diagrams, and written reference material
- Strong organizational, communication (verbal and written), and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a cross-functional team environment
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
- Ability to use hand and power tools
