Summary Statement: Applies extensive knowledge of principles, theories, concepts and training practices and procedures to develop, maintain, and administer the company technical training programs to meet customer, company, and government requirements and enhance the technical capability of the stakeholders. Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities: Develops solutions to complex and unusual problems that require considerable ingenuity and innovation to make substantial modification to policies and standards related to technical training programs. Work is accomplished under general direction and completed work is reviewed for results. Confers with management and divisional personnel to determine training objectives. Defines training areas where training is mandated by either government regulation and company or customer engineering process specifications. Writes training programs based on technical documentation to include engineering process specifications and government regulations. These training programs should include outlines, text, handouts, tests, classroom exercises, and on the job training processes. Schedules classes based on classroom and equipment availability. Lectures class on technical subject area. Subject areas may include welding, Hi-Lock fastener installation, preload indicating washers installation, torque, metal bonding, composites, and like technical problems. Demonstrates procedures being taught by following an outline, handouts, and text. Administers written and practical exams and writes performance reports to evaluate trainees' performance. Assists in identifying potential technical trainers from the departments where the training needs to occur. Writes and conducts train-the-trainer programs to teach others to effectively transfer technical knowledge to others. Determines appropriate methods to measure the effectiveness of the technical training curriculum and the instructors. Monitors all the technical training classes on a periodic basis. Collects and compiles the measurement data and reports the results to management. This position may provide administrative and technical leadership over other Stakeholders in the department. Ancillary Functions and Responsibilities: Performs other duties as required. These duties may include assignments in job classifications other than the primary assignment. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: TECHNICAL TRAINING REP SENIOR Formal Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience: Experience may be substituted for the formal education and training requirements in this section at the discretion of management. Bachelor Degree in a technical discipline or educational discipline and seven (7) to ten (10) years related experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Airframe and Power Plant (A&P) License preferred. Level of Supervision Required: The level of supervision required described here is representative of that which must be met by a Stakeholder to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Works under general direction and only receives guidance as to results expected and complex problem resolution. Exercises latitude in determining activities and approaches within moderate to wide parameters. Communication and Special Skills: * Communicate effectively using electronic media and in written and verbal forms. * Make telephone and direct personal contact with internal and external personnel and make formal presentations to small or large groups. * Competent in the use of standard software applications such as Microsoft Word and Excel. Special Training and Behavioral Competencies: The following training requirements and competencies must be met before acceding to this job. * Safety training applicable to the job and work area. * Complete the required NORDAM University training for all Stakeholders. * Comply with The NORDAM Group Leadership Competencies for Stakeholders. * Ability and willingness to assist and transfer technical knowledge to less experienced Stakeholders.
Physical Requirements

Must be able to work in excess of eight (8) hours per day and five (5) days per week, if required. Additionally, those who work at NORDAM Repair Division must be able to ascend and descend stairs.

Working Environment

While performing the duties of this job, the Stakeholder is occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
