Medical Assistant (Roswell, GA)

Job Responsibilities:

• · Keep exam rooms fully stocked with adequate equipment
• · Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• · Provide medical administrative support including scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance forms
• · Assist with medication administration under the supervision of a healthcare provider
• · Utilize knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy to accurately document patient information
• · Provide excellent patient service, ensuring patient comfort and addressing any concerns or questions they may have
• · Assist with coding and billing procedures to ensure accurate documentation and reimbursement
• · Cleaning and sterilizing medical instruments and patient exam rooms
• · Maintain strictest confidentiality

Skills required:

• Minimum of two years’ medical experience (required)
• Proficient in taking vital signs accurately and efficiently
• Strong medical administrative skills, including appointment scheduling and record management
• Familiar with medical terminology and ability to accurately document patient information
• Excellent patient service skills, with the ability to provide compassionate care and address patient concerns
• Familiar with coding procedures and ability to accurately document services provided for billing purposes
• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Medical Assistant certification/registration preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
