What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Administrative Manager position at NOREAS, Inc?

We are looking for an Assistant Administrative Manager to be responsible for providing administrative support to project professionals and office employees in addition to overseeing office needs on a day-to-day basis. We are looking for an organized and proactive individual for our Irvine, CA office.

NOREAS is an environmental engineering company that provides scientific, technical, engineering, and construction management support to federal agencies, local governments, and utility companies, as well as diverse group of private clients throughout California, Nevada, and Arizona.

Some of the duties include but are not limited to:

  • Providing oversight and coordination of all office administrative activities by communicating directly with all employees, and providing administrative support on projects, as needed;
  • Administrative support may include ordering and receiving office supplies, tracking, scheduling, and coordinating maintenance for office equipment and company vehicles, mailing, scanning, faxing, copying, and filing of office and project-related records;
  • Managing field data including organizing, uploading, and maintaining field data received from project sites including employee and project-related expense reports;
  • Assisting project professionals with generating, maintaining and managing reports and other documents as needed;
  • Planning and coordinating office and project related events, such as holiday parties, office training events, and project meetings with clients.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

  • Irvine, CA 92618: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)

Education:

  • Bachelor's (Preferred)

Experience:

  • Microsoft Word: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Microsoft Excel: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Adobe Acrobat: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Administrative: 1 year (Preferred)
