The Finance staff consists of twelve employees, including two who handle payroll. We process payroll for a health system with over 3,000 employees in two acute care hospitals in Norman, outpatient services and over sixty physician clinics in Norman, Moore and the surrounding communities. This position is responsible for the processing of bi-weekly payroll for all employees, maintaining complete and accurate time and attendance payroll records, processing all authorized employee deductions, and wage garnishments. This position will also maintain the vendor dictionary and process 1099s. This staff member will also assist other staff on projects and perform other departmental duties, when needed.
High school education required and some college accounting courses preferred. Proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Excel and Word). Self-starter -able to prioritize workload, handle multiple tasks, work as part of a team as well as independently. Have excellent written, interpersonal and communication skills. Minimum of 1 years of Payroll/AP experience highly desired.
