TITLE: MAINTENANCE TECH 2/ Grounds Maintenance
SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm (30 min break)
PAYRATE: $17-$21.25 ( depending on years of experience)
POSITION TYPE: TEMP (3-4 weeks)
LOCATION: Staatsburg, NY
Qualifications: HS diploma/ equivalent, Driver license, at least 3 years of related experience, heavy equipment operator is a plus.
Will be required to be available for snow team as needed (also discussed during the interview)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for ensuring trees, shrubs, flowerbeds and other landscaping elements are maintained through regular trimming and weeding.
- Operate and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools. (Lawn mower, weed wacker, chainsaw, various hand tools, etc.)
- Inspection of Storm Drainage System and Petroleum storage.
- Responsible for maintaining fences, walkways, playgrounds, and parking lots.
- Performs general maintenance duties seasonally, during inclement weather, or for a special project to support the Maintenance Department.
- Represents the department in a positive manner at all times.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $21.25 per hour
