Reporting directly to the Vice President or Executive Director of Operations, a Principal/Director of Operations develops and implement strategies to increase organizational effectiveness and financial performance within a business unit. The incumbent develops and maintains operating plans, revenue forecasts, staffing and resource planning, controls expenses and negotiates on behalf of the firm, to ensure overall efficiency and profitability. A Principal/Director of Operations also provides insights, information, and recommendations to the Long Range Plan (LRP), Annual Operating Plan and Business Plans. The incumbent works with Studio Managers in their own business unit to ensure all projects are staffed appropriately and effectively.
