Forklift Operator

Position Summary: Operate industrial forklift to perform material handling assignments. Identify and transport material to and from storage areas, machines, loading docks or trucks.

• Position Qualifications

  
  Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Prior forklift experience is required.
  • Must gain sufficient knowledge to fulfill the duties of this position within three (3) months of assignment.
  • Valid driver’s license or certification.
  • Must handle finished goods/load trucks damage free.
  • Must maintain 100% loading accuracy/balance loads.
  • Ability to read, write and apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written and oral form.
  • Good understanding of basic math, basic blueprint/specifications reading, and ability to use computer scanning devices and adjustable measuring instruments.
  • Must be able to check reports, forms, records, and comparable data and interpret data using basic skills knowledge.
  • Ability to work with little direct supervision.
  • Excellent safety record and forklift operation.

  
  Preferred:

  • Minimum 1 year stand up and sit-down forklift experience.
  • Computer skills.
  • SAP
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
