Job Summary
Job Responsibilities:
- Reads and follows blueprints, routers, specifications, and other instructions in order to build and assemble parts and equipment in an accurate and timely fashion.
- Ability to be trained and certified to operate overhead crane and fork trucks while moving and assembling product.
- Performs any assembly-type functions, using hand or power tools.
- Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations.
- Develops and maintains positive working relationships within the company.
- Commits to performing job duties in a manner that ensures a safe work environment.
- Willingly and cooperatively performs other related duties as assigned by management.
- Must be able to wear protective gear and equipment.

- Other Ad hoc duties as assigned by manager.

Position Requirements:
- Product experience must include Industrial, HVAC equipment and/or controls, various controls systems, like Johnson Controls, Schneider Electric, and others.
- The ability to foster an environment that encourages initiative, creativity, teamwork, people-development, and successful achievement of production goals is required.
- Ability and willingness to train other employees in assigned area – also during new project startups, expectation to disseminate and interpret complex engineering drawings/blueprints/information to all levels of production employees - and technical expertise in assigned areas.
- Ability to motivate and inspire co-workers when job task is challenging.
- Technical training may be required depending on assigned areas (ex. machine, testing, brazing)
- Closure of job-related work orders within assigned area.
- Observe and follow all company procedures and safety rules.
- Responsible for ensuring in-line inspections are completed and accurate for assigned area.
Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent, required. Completion of some secondary/trade school technical and/or general business course is highly preferred.
- Requires a minimum of 3 years of similar work experience in assembly or construction experience (W3), or equivalent combination of technical school, on-the-job training and work experience.
- Ability to be trained and certified to operate overhead crane and fork trucks while moving and assembling product.
- Able to operate and use hand and power tools (pipe cutter, ratcheting, standard wrenches)
- Must be able to apply significant torque with hand tools throughout the entire workday (wrenches, ratcheting tools, channel locks, etc.)
- Able to read a tape measure.
- Able to lift and/or move heavy objects/components, frequently up to 25lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
- Requires manual dexterity with ability to make coordinated hand and finger movements to grasp, manipulate and assemble objects, and handle tools.
- Ability to work in repetitive motions and pressure involving fingers, hands, and wrists.
- Able to stand for prolonged periods on a concrete floor.
- Able to walk, reach with hands and arms, push, pull, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, and crawl.
- Able to climb ladders and work in high areas.
- Must have demonstrated ability to communicate (speak, read, write) in English.
- Good analytical skills and attention to detail with ability to read and interpret blueprints, plans, and manuals.
- Ability to stay on project through root cause analysis.
- Excellent communication skills when working with peers and cross functional teams (Eng., M.E., & planning).
- Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly and ability to follow up on open issues to resolutions.
- Ability to root cause issues to preventing production process from completing.
