Sales Associate, Part Time (Less than 30 hours)
North Alabama Beverage, LLC operating as Vices Beverages, a locally owned, multi-location liquor store chain is seeking a part-time Sales Associate who is reliable and responsible and can deliver outstanding customer service while keeping the store neat and clean. The ideal candidate should be able to operate a register, stock, check in shipments and have weekend availability.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Greet and help customers with beverage selections.
- Operate a cash register on each shift.
- Keep the store neat, clean and organized.
- Restock shelves and coolers as needed with product
- Check-in orders from Vendors
- Check IDs as required by regulations.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Keen attention to detail
- Must have a pleasant personality, be dependable and adaptable, and have strong communication skills
- Able to lift and carry cases weighing in excess of 50 lbs alone and with aid of a hand truck
- Position will require sitting, standing, walking, carrying, pushing/pulling, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching and reaching
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Able to read labels, receipts and other product documentation correctly
- Ability to receive directions from the management staff
