Position Requirements
Job Summary:
- The Director, IT Business Partner identifies and prioritizes potential opportunities to improve Information Technology and Services (IT) quality, safety, efficiency, and effectiveness, while reducing waste and improving stakeholder satisfaction. The role will partner with the business units to align IT with and support business units and tactical operational and technical initiatives.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The Director, IT Business Partner will report to the Senior Director of Applications.
- Will lead initiatives for both the innovative use of technology and the adoption of new technology and process by the business teams. Directs the work, projects and outcomes of project portfolio and support requirements of IT
- Demonstrates a high level of technical ability to provide process improvements and ideas regarding risk prevention, detection, and correction.
- Supports Napa IT strategy, this includes working closely with executives across Napa, multiple markets and divisions as needed.
- Identify, prioritize, aggregate and analyze key business data points to create actionable information for the company and business teams to improve company performance.
- This leader will demonstrate a strong partnership with business leaders in the company to oversee the strategic direction and implementation of business applications.
- Demonstrate professional behavior in association with providers, vendors and NAPA staff
- Manage the work of others, including planning, assigning, scheduling and reviewing work, ensures quality standards. Responsible for hiring, terminating, training and developing, reviewing performance and administering corrective action for staff.
- Maintain working knowledge of NAPAs suite of business facing software applications
- Follow all NAPA and IT policies and procedures
Experience/Skill Requirements:
- Ten years of progressive experience in IT with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Experience in healthcare provider organizations preferred.
- Experience in performance measurement tools such as balanced scorecards, dashboards and real-time Key Performance indicators.
- An excellent listener who exudes credibility and can translate feedback to the IT team
- Strong understanding of healthcare provider organization workflows and issues.
- Ability to effectively lead multidisciplinary teams and to lead in a matrixed, collaborative organizational environment
- Experience in IT management including program/project management, budget management, people leadership and management and the business of IT
- Competence with business systems required and previous experience in the implementation and support of a large-scale implementation preferred.
- Highly motivated, results oriented team player who can rapidly mobilize, motivate and organize a diverse group of stakeholders to drive value realization from investments made in business applications
- Politically astute with demonstrated diplomacy and leadership capability as an IT leader
- Confident and capable of making and executing challenging decisions

Education/Certification Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree (preferred in Information Technology or related field)
- MBA preferred
