This position is to perform primarily office and non-manual quality functions designed to service Production through consultation and oversight. Responsibilities include general quality operations including the creating and maintenance of quality and engineering documentation. The Quality Specialist conducts CMM operation and part verification in compliance with applicable Quality Management System (QMS) procedures, and maintenance of gage procurement and calibration system. What you get in return …The most competitive pay in the industry based upon your skill level, along with a full benefits packageGENERAL SUMMARY: The EPC Team Leader reports to the Quality Manager or designate. This position is responsible for leading the EPC group in inspection of product quality to ensure compliance with applicable QMS procedures and customer requirements.  ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:  A.  Provide support and assist EPC Team Members by providing leadership and basic quality direction B.  Maintain EPC area to ensure proper and timely product flow according to requirements of Production and Materials schedules C.  Inspect stamped / welded / assembled product to standards defined in Quality Documentation (EPC and sort / inspect / rework contained product) D.  Assist in the development if rework methods and instructions as needed E.  Ensure product is identified in ShopEdge for inventory accuracy F.  Ensure timely completion of inventory transactions G. Completion of visual and gage inspections and associated inspection documentation H. Maintain records of audits, open communication between Production & Quality and overall professional behavior as a member of the Quality team I.   Provide back-up support to EPC department and Quality Technicians, as required J.  Work with support functions to create Job Breakdown Sheet and Standardized Work K. Train and audit team members in standardized work while completing the training matrix to document all training and Team Member skill level L.  Lead by example to ensure consistency of standardized work by all team members M. Ensure that all abnormalities to the standards are documented, escalated, and resolved while working together with Team Members to improve the standard for better Safety, Quality, and Productivity N. Lead daily start-of-shift meeting to review area scoreboard performance while highlighting any safety and quality alerts from last 24 hours O. Hourly monitoring of area performance (production boards, etc.) P. 5S Workplace orientation adherence and improvement Q. In addition to performing primary duties, the individual shall provide support where deemed necessary by Management  MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS Education: • High School Diploma   Experience:  • 3 years manufacturing experience • 2 years computer (PC) experience   Personal/Technical Skills: • Fundamental understanding of Quality Documentation and In-Process Inspection • Basic knowledge of GD&T, Gage R&R, and gage use • Will have the ability to work a schedule that allows completion of the job on a daily basis. • Basic understanding of Problem Solving and Root Cause Analysis. • Detail oriented and able to work with minimal supervision. • Demonstrate leadership abilities. • Demonstrate a "hands on" approach.   Language Skills: • Able to clearly communicate in verbal or written forms  • Ability to speak and write in the primary language of the NASG facility of employment   Computer/Software: • Computer (PC) and Microsoft Office • ShopEdge materials consumption and Quality Inspection  • QCBD    Training: • Forklift certification • Gage use / Part inspection • Containment procedure, work instructions, forms, tags • Fundamentals of IATF 16949 • Other Baseline items   WORK ENVIRONMENT/CONDITIONS Plant:  Various types of manufacturing environments that include but not limited to: Stamping, Welding, Assembly, Grinding, Wash, Receiving, Shipping, Sorting  Travel: As needed in relationship to customer requirements or employee development  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS  • Stand and walk for up to 12 hours • Able to work flexible hours • Repetitive lifting and bending • Able to lift, carry, hold and manipulate loads up to 50 lbs • Dexterity to manipulate product onto gages or gages onto parts • Acceptable vision and hearing with or without appropriate prescribed aides • Able to work within environment that has temperature fluctuations
