What are the responsibilities and job description for the Community Care Manager position at North Carolina Behavior?
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Reaches out to referral sources via phone, in-person meetings, mailings, and other strategies
- Educates and informs how ABA therapy can help children and their families on the autistic spectrum, in developing better coping mechanisms and behavior
- Building long term professional relationships with stakeholders and referral sources
- Documents referral data accurately and timely in our company‘s database system

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to quickly establish trust and build a relationship with people on different professional levels
- Ability to clearly communicate North Carolina Behavior’s service offering and value
- Knowledge of community resources for Child Development in the local market
- Must have reliable transportation to perform essential outreach functions on occasional basis
- Must be fluent in English, verbally and written. Spanish-speaking is a PLUS!
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience with focus on healthcare counseling, sales or outreach
- Experience working with children diagnosed with behavioral-emotional disorders or children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (for instance as a Behavior Technician) is a plus.
- Degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, Special Education, Child Development, Family Support Specialist or other related field
- Valid driver’s license with reliable and consistent access to a vehicle

- Salary Ranging from 65-80K Depending on experience
- Our office hours are: Monday through Friday 9:00am-5:00pm.
- Our office is in the Triangle Area.
TRAINING AND ONBOARDING:
The onboarding and training process will entail a few days program at our corporate office in New York, to get to know the organization, the processes and procedures and to acquire the knowledge required to advocate for ABA-therapy and North Carolina Behavior.
Our Clinical, Operational, Marketing, BD and HR staff in New York is dedicated to set you up for success and support you. Obviously the expenses of transportation and lodging will be covered.
