What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate position at North Coast, Sonepar?

What you will do:
- Maintain and improve warehouse cleanliness and organization
- Order filling, including wire cutting & pipe order filling
- Safe forklift/equipment usage
- Assisting with loading/offloading freight or delivery trucks
- Able to assist with helping customers and answering phone calls when necessary.
- Other warehouse duties as assigned
What you will bring:
- Committed to 100% accuracy and Doing Tasks Right The First Time (DIRTFT)
- Ability to learn use of handheld RF scanners and operating systems
- Safe operation of forklift or other powered equipment
- Good oral & written communication skills with a focus on customer service
- Detail oriented
- Self-motivated and teamwork focused
- Desire to learn and grow in responsibilities
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
- Warehouse Environment, standing and walking for most of the day
- Regular lifting of up-to 50lbs
- Usual 40-hour work week Monday through Friday; however, based on business needs, evening and weekend hours may occasionally be required
- Requires punctual regular, and reliable on-site attendance
