Job Summary:
Reporting to the System CFO, the system Vice President of Finance is responsible for the daily and strategic oversight, management, and direction of all functions within financial and managerial accounting. Essential responsibilities include recruitment and development of leadership personnel for finance and accounting; directing, evaluating, and improving the performance of finance and accounting leaders; identifying, monitoring, and reporting key performance indicators; establishing and maintaining policies and procedures; preparing, reviewing, and managing department operating and capital budgets; and will serve as a key member of the system finance and accounting leadership team including participating in board and finance committee meetings. This position is a key contributor along with the rest of the system finance team and operations leadership to promoting a stable and successful financial position for North Country Healthcare and its affiliates.
Essential Qualifications include Bachelor’s degree in business, health administration, finance, or related field required, a Master’s degree preferred; a minimum of 5 years work experience in healthcare revenue cycle required with at least 3 years of leadership experience required, additional experience preferred; knowledge of revenue cycle concepts, best practices, rules, and regulations including rural health programs required; Exceptional computer skills required; and knowledge of revenue cycle systems including Meditech Expanse preferred.
