Controller

Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Controller to join our team. As the Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities of the College, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and providing accurate financial analysis and reporting. This is a key leadership role within the organization, requiring strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of governmental accounting principles.

Responsibilities:

• Oversees the implementation and improvement of SCT/Banner software within the accounting and finance area.
• Responsible for all Controller's Office functions including computerized accounting, cash management, processing of purchase orders, inventory records, accounts payable and receivables, and payroll administration and taxes.
• Responsible for all banking transactions including investment and tracking of College funds and gains on investments.
• Reconcile all bank accounts.
• Assist in the development and control of institutional budgets.
• Monitors all federal funds, ensuring compliance with all pertinent regulations, fiscal practices, and reporting requirements
• Submits financial reports as needed on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis. Some examples include monthly and quarterly reports required for federal funding, budget documents, Annual Financial Reports, Cost Analysis, and IPEDS reports.
• Manages relationships with external auditors.
• Work as a team member with Administrative Services employees in all related duties and procedures.

Pay: $55,346.76 - $73,087.18 per year
