Job Summary:
We are seeking laborers/foremen to fill roofing positions. This is a very fast-paced work environment. We value attention to detail, safety at all times, and hard, honest work. Our schedule is very dependent on the weather and all efforts will be made to keep a consistent schedule (whether that is roof installations, roof repairs, roof maintenance, or any filler work). Pay is dependent on experience and skill. On-the-job-training is provided as needed.
This is a great entry-level position for someone interested in construction! It's also a great summer job for high schoolers looking for a flexible schedule!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Roof tear-offs and cleanup
- Thorough job-site cleanup
- Proper installation of roofing underlayment as well as asphalt shingles, various metal roofing systems, TPO/flat-roofing systems, and other synthetic materials
- Some projects may include some rough or finished carpentry
- Gutter and roof cleaning
- Roof maintenance and repairs

Skills:
- Ability and comfortability working at various heights and pitches regularly (Required)
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and manual labor for long periods of time (Required)
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions (Required)
- Strong knowledge of construction techniques and materials, specifically roofing (Preferred and highly desirable)
- Ability to use hand tools effectively and safely (Preferred and highly desirable)
- Familiarity with installation of various roofing systems (Preferred and highly desirable)
*This position offers competitive pay based on experience.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 50 per week
