Title I Math Tutor

North Reading Middle School has an anticipated opening for a part-time Title I Math Tutor. North Reading Public Schools is actively looking to build a diverse workforce to ensure all students feel welcome, safe, and valued for who they are and supported to reach their potential.

This position is flexible and approximately 20-24 hours/week for 35 weeks. We will also consider candidates who are interested in working any combination of 5-20 hours/week.

Essential Duties 

• Work with small groups of students in grades 6-8 to support math learning and growth
• Reinforce standards-based mathematical concepts and practices for target students 

 Requirements

• Masters degree preferred
• 3 years prior experience
• Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education teaching license in Mathematics, grades 5-8
• Experience in data analysis and current Mathematics Frameworks preferred
• Citizenship, residency, or work visa required
