North Shore Nissan is looking for an experienced Automotive Parts Manager to join our growing team.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and administer an annual operating budget for the parts department
- Maintain profitability of the department while controlling expenses and maintaining customer satisfaction
- Forecasts goals and objectives for the parts department and strives to meet / exceed them
- Maintain a balanced inventory consistent with the requirements of the defined areas
- Accurately price parts and accessories using the proper pricing source and keep the computer system up to date
- Working with the service department, collision repair and wholesale account representatives to ensure inventory is available when needed
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all parts department staff
- Establish and maintain programs designed to train, develop and motivate department employees
- Provide technical assistance to parts department employees
- Understand, keep abreast of, and comply with federal, state, and local regulations that may affect parts sales
- Enforce safety requirements
- Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the company's values in all interactions with customers, co-workers and vendors
Qualifications
- 3 years experience as a Parts Manager within a franchised dealership (domestic OEM highly preferred)
- Valid driver’s license with good driving record
- Prior experience managing a team or in a supervisory capacity
- A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service
- Great customer service skills
- Detail oriented, teamwork driven, and organized
- Ability to work well in a process driven environment
- Professional appearance and work ethic
- High school diploma or equivalent
