New England Orthopedic Specialists offers the same level of superior care and expertise on the North Shore, that was previously available only through leading hospitals in Boston. Our doctors are fellowship trained in hand surgery, shoulder surgery, joint replacement and sports medicine to ensure we can handle all types of orthopedic problems.

General Overview
Under direction of a physician, PAs in this office are responsible for providing orthopedic treatment/medicine services, including assessing and managing patients in the outpatient setting following established standards and practices. Service care may include performing complete histories and physical exams, performing or ordering simple diagnostic tests, prepare a diagnosis, and assist in providing patients with the latest treatment options for their health issues.
Required
- Education - Required to have completed a Master’s Degree program, and have graduated from a Physician Assistant program approved by the Commission on Accreditation of Allied Health Education Programs (CAAHEP).
- Licensure - Must be currently licensed in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts as a Physician Assistant
- Experience - 1 year experience as physicians’ assistant preferably in an office setting.
