Museum Intern
Job Posting for Museum Intern at North Slope Borough
Work with the curator to learn and assist in the day to day operation of the museum as the avenue to acquire the skills needed to carry out basic collections care, record keeping as well as exhibit design and execution.

Care for collections and maintain records of work performed
Catalog artifacts in the collections and enter the data in the museums database.
Play an active role in the research, preparation and completion of projects.
Enroll in a museums studies course of instruction.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge of museum practices
Skill in using personal computers and a variety of software applications.
Proficient in Inupiat Speaking.
High school graduate, G.E.D./ or, a combination of 12 years of education and related work experience;
One year of work experience with general office equipment.
