The Assistant Store Manager position earns a competitive wage ranging from $21.00 to $24.00 per hour and is eligible for overtime. - Retail management experience
- Ability to manage and ensure sales goals are met by tracking, evaluating options, and managing resources
- Skilled in leadership, coaching, and training, sales generation, strategic planning, authentic customer service, conflict resolution, business, time management, POS terminals, and general retail software proficiency
- A strong knowledge of Farm, Fencing, Ranch and Hardware preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while remaining detailed and focused
- Ability to complete operational, administrative and safety tasks on all levels

WHAT IS IT LIKE TO BE AN ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER AT NORTH 40?
As the Assistant Store Manager, you will be responsible for the customer experience and will ensure we exceed expectations at every touch point. In order to succeed in the position, you will need to be an enthusiastic “people person” who can optimistically handle a challenging and fast paced environment. You should have experience and a passion for generating sales, safeguarding company assets, and maintaining store standards. A key part of this position will be the operational and administrative side of our store. You should also have a strong background in retail management, merchandising, and sales. The ability to understand and adapt to local culture is also crucial to your success. Public relations experience, a working knowledge of outdoor recreations, farm and ranch, animal health, tools, and hardware is a plus.
WORK SCHEDULE FOR A SALES ASSOCIATE
This full-time position requires the ability to work all scheduled shifts between the business hours of Mon-Sat 7 am to 7 pm, and Sunday 9 am to 5 pm., as well as, additional time before and after hours as needed. This shift can include working weekends and certain holidays and will require flexibility in scheduling based on business needs.
