What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II position at Northbay?
At NorthBay Health the Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiologic Technologist II (CIRT) is registered by the state of California Radiologic Association and possesses a California state fluoroscopy permit. The CIRT has responsibility, training and competence with diagnostic, routine and complex interventional cardiac angiographic and cardiac implant procedures. The duties also include routine and complex vascular, peripheral vascular, non-vascular, interventional and trauma procedures. The technologist is also trained in OR radiographs. CIRT’s must have a combination of technical, radiologic and clinical skills. The CIRT is under the direction of the physician of record during a procedure and reports to the clinical coordinators and Director of Cardiology. The CIRT has the responsibility, accountability, and the authority to deliver safe, effective, quality, cost effective care according to the philosophy and goals of the Patient Care Division. Care is provided according to the specific physiologic developmental and psychosocial needs of the patients. The CIRT supports the mission, vision values, and expectation of excellence of NorthBay Health.

Education:
- Graduate of an accredited two-year school of x-ray technology.
Licensure/Certification:
- Current CA CRT, ARRT, and CA Fluoroscopy permit required.
- Current AHA or AHA equivalent BLS required.
- ACLS preferred.
- RCIS preferred.
Experience:
- Must have a year recent experience in an interventional lab performing peripheral vascular procedures/intervention and/or interventional radiology and/or interventional cardiology.
- Experience in coronary interventions preferred.
- Experience with CPACS preferred.
Skills:
- Demonstrates competence in clinical specialty.
- Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a complex situation.
- Independent and reliable with excellent critical thinking and problem solving skills

Compensation: Based on years of experience: $60.87-73.98
NOC differential: $8.75
Evening Differential: $5.58
