Operations Specialist
Full time, 40 hours per week, remote or hybrid

Operations Specialist
In this new role at Northbound you will be a huge contributor to our overall agency success by supporting our Talent and Operations efforts, as we continue to grow our business and refine how our teams work together to create best in class work for our clients.
- Talent recruitment management:
- Support day to day recruitment needs i.e., scheduling, and general candidate communications, day to day communications with agency partners, candidate sourcing and screening, fielding questions and taking notes to follow up with Director of Talent and Operations (DTOT) as needed.
- Manage and maintain recruiting talent network.
- Manage and maintain freelance talent network.
- Manage onboarding and offboarding of both new employees and freelance talent.
- Benefits, compensation, and HR compliance management:
- Under the direction of the DTOD proactively manage the annual review and renewal of employee benefits: health, dental, vision, 401k, etc.
- Be the primary internal contact for day-to-day questions and needs around employee benefits, escalate to broker/partners or Director of Talent and Organizational Development Director as needed.
- Be the primary contact for all Northbound employees, provide day to day completion and management of employment paperwork, employee files, benefits questions, reporting, and sharing of city, state, and federal guidelines/regulations.
- Under the direction of the DTOD project manage salary reviews with respective managers and maintain the upkeep of our pay scale – both relative to performance reviews and relative to titles.
- Facility management; includes IT and, our weekly all hands meeting, including publishing the agenda ahead of time and notes afterward.
- Attend weekly resourcing meeting, supporting the DTOD in identifying agenda items, facilitating problem solving, and publishing/sharing agreements or plans.
- Special projects support and management, which could include but is not limited to:
- Finance projects such as updates to our resourcing model or utilization reports, and other data entry and BigTime related tasks.
- Shepherding process improvements and templatizing or training of specific skills within departments or for the agency overall, at the direction of agency or department leads.
- Training, learning and development projects.
- Projects related to adding or changing aspects of employee benefits or employee value proposition, such as vacation structure.
- Projects related to improving resourcing, including but not limited to evaluating recruiting resources or processes, evaluating freelance talent, establishing best practices workflow for identifying and onboarding freelance talent; these would all be at the direction of the Director of Talent and Operations.

Experience:
- 5 years agency or professional services experience providing Talent, HR, Operations support, and execution.
- 5 years demonstrated success in a fast-paced team environment.
- Educational background consistent with the required skills.

Job Expectations:
Position Type
- This is a Full-Time position. Compensation is $65,000-75,000 annually. This position reports to the Director of Talent and Organizational Development.
Working Environment
- This position is a hybrid position with opportunity to collaborate in an office environment on a weekly basis as needed or a remote position operating in the U.S. Our offices are in downtown Seattle with a sweeping 180° of Elliot Bay, Lake Union, and the Space Needle.
- Office hours are between 8 AM and 5 PM Pacific Time
Travel
- No travel is expected for this position apart from 1 to 2 company gatherings per year.
