Our LGBTQIA oriented team has openings for PRIDE CLINICIAN. Help us realize our dream of creating a service-based delivery team that REFLECTS the PRIDE / LGBTQIA COMMUNITY! This PRIDE team will provide structured, consistent, strength-based therapeutic interventions to the LGBTQIA community in a client’s home or in the office for the purpose of treating a youth’s behavioral health needs. We utilize multiple evidence-based practices that promote families in a culturally informed and competent way.
Pride Clinicians work collaboratively with clients to help them access their core strengths to be their best selves and realize their full potential, utilizing a variety of approaches such as individual, couple, family, and group psychotherapy. Compensation:
Full-time:
- $50,000-$65,000
Fee for Service:
- $35-$55 per hour
Qualifications:
- LGBTQIA culturally competent by virtue of education, training, experience, or a combination thereof
- Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or related human services field
- Licensure (LMSW, LCSW, LMHC, LMFT, LCAT, etc.) or a Limited Permit in the state of NY
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with children, youth, and families in a home or community setting preferred
- Valid driver’s license with access to reliable and consistent access to a vehicle preferred
- Bilingual Spanish preferred but not required
- Requires excellent time-management skills with ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage one's own schedule with client outreach
